Three-time world surfing champion-turned-musician Tom Curren will be performing with The Noah’s in a surf benefit at The Marquee in Halifax on Friday, October 10.
Proceeds from the benefit go to the Surfriders Association of Nova Scotia (SANS) Coastal Access Committee and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF-Canada).

WEST COAST SURFER PETE DEVRIES WINS SURF CLASSIC

West Coast surfer Pete Devries captured first place in the Open Pro class of the 2008 September Storm Surf Classic, sponsored by Monster Energy, Billabong and the Surfriders Association of Nova Scotia (SANS). The 23-year-old from Tofino (home break: Chestermans Beach) bagged $5,000 for his efforts.

SEPTEMBER STORM SURF CLASSIC 2008

This week, Billabong and the Surfriders Association of Nova Scotia (SANS) are holding the third annual September Storm Surf Classic at Lawrencetown Beach. The competition is arguably the biggest surf contest in Canada.
