CANADIAN SURFERS AT ISA WORLD SURFING GAMES
Tofino’s Noah Cohen, who placed second in the Open Class of the recent September Storm Surf Classic, will lead Team Canada at the ISA World Surfing Games in Portugal that begin this weekend.
The Games will take place at Costa da Caparica, a beach community on the Atlantic Coast, which is about a half-hour drive from the capital city Lisbon. According to Magicseaweed, the conditions for the next week or so look stellar. The competition will be webcast at www.wsg2008.com.
Nova Scotia surfers Glen MacDuff, Neal Durling, Kim Childs and Pat Bannister will also compete for Canada. A full list of the Canadian team is below.
