I hate to hear locals in NS complain about "too many people in the water". When there's actually almost none in comparison to other places. That is the true spirit and sense of aloha. I just got back from a great trip to Kauai and on any given day you'll see a mix of longboards, shortboards, SUP's, kites and windsurfers, all sharing lineups. Sure, we all need to be respectful of one another, but it's not about what you're riding, it's about loving being in the water and sharing that stoke with a new generation. Good for you guys, it looks like a blast and I can't wait to try kiting. One more toy in the quiver and no more sitting, waiting for surf. Sounds good to me!
